Synopsis
Maverik Navy Lieutenant Tom Dodge will never become an officer of the textbook, but he is a brilliant sailor who always wanted to command a nuclear submarine – he was given the last chance to cleanse his record. Unfortunately, Admiral Graham, his sworn enemy, will rather immerse the fleet than will let him evade his own boat. Thus, Graham folds the deck against him and appoints Dodge to the scan, a diesel submarine WW2, which can barely keep afloat. Which is even worse, the Dodge team is a collection of inaccessible, prone to errors. Then he marked the “enemy” in the decisive war and ordered to take the best naval fleet.
