The rich American housewife Mary Morgan leads his mocking son George from a school for home education, including a trip to South Africa. While in Mozambique, George was bitten by a mosquito, which crawls through a hole in his network and dies of malaria. After his funeral in the house, Mary feels forced to return to Africa, where she meets the English woman Marta O’Connell, whose 24 -year -old son Ben, a teacher with a voluntary service abroad, also died of malaria. Ben gave his network to one of his students, believing that adults could not catch malaria. Two women are shocked, seeing a high level of mortality caused by this disease, and while Martha remains in Africa as a voluntary assistant, Mary turns to the American government. Martha appears in the house of Maria without warning, and, helping the former father of Mary, they turn to the Senate Committee on Health Controls, convincing them to make more to fight malaria. They meet with some success, although the code claims that it can be done much more.
